How to Refill Your Car Diffuser (Without Making a Mess)
One of the best things about the '83 Everywhere Car Diffuser is that you don't need to replace the whole thing when the scent starts to fade. A quick refill and you're back to making traffic smell a little better.
Here's how to do it.
Step 1: Remove the Wooden Lid
Unscrew the wooden lid and set it aside. If the string gets a little tangled, don't worry. We've all been there.
Step 2: Add Fragrance Oil
Using your Scent Top Up bottle, carefully fill the glass vessel.
A little tip: don't overfill it. Leave a bit of space at the top to prevent spills when you put the lid back on.
Step 3: Reattach the Lid
Screw the wooden lid back on tightly and make sure the plug is secure.
Step 4: Refresh the Wood
Tip the diffuser upside down for 2–3 seconds to allow a small amount of fragrance to absorb into the wooden lid.
That's it.
The wood acts like a wick, slowly releasing scent while you drive. When the fragrance starts to fade, simply tip it again for a couple of seconds to refresh the scent.
How Long Does One Refill Last?
Each Scent Top Up bottle contains approximately 28 g of fragrance oil, enough for around 3–4 refills depending on how full you like your diffuser.
Most customers enjoy several months of fragrance from a single bottle.
Can I Switch Scents?
Absolutely.
If you're changing scents, simply empty any remaining oil and refill with a new fragrance. You may notice a little blending at first, but after a few days the new scent will take over.
Some people even intentionally mix scents to create their own combinations. We're not here to stop you.
